Timisoara and Vojvodina out, Metalac and Spartak in for the next edition of Eurohold Balkan League Bulgarian Spartak Pleven in for next season

Romanian side Timisoara and Serbian club Vojvodina Novi Sad officially informed the Board of the Eurohold Balkan League they will not participate in the new 2009/10 season. Teams from Serbia will be Metalac Valjevo and Mega Hypo Leasing. In the same time it is official that third team from Bulgaria will be part of the next season for Eurohold Balkan League. Spartak Pleven fulfill all the requirements of the league and ended the registration for new upcoming season. Beside team from Pleven there will be two more teams from Bulgaria in the league – last season trophy winner Rilski Sportist and the winner of the Cup of Bulgaria Levski Sofia. As far as the last rumors regarding eventual participation of Lukoil Academic in Eurohold Balkan League there is no request from Bulgarian champions to take part of it.

 

The full list of teams that will take part in the second edition of Eurohold Balkan league will be announced soon. The board of the league will also announce the groups and will release the full schedule for the new upcoming 2009/2010 season. The competition will start at October 3rd with the opening game to held in Bar, Montenegro.
