Montenegro won promotion to Eurobasket Division A

88:71   Montenegro won the second game of the Play-offs of Division B over Sweden. The team proved it one more time that they deserve a place in Division A more than the opponents. In the first leg of the Play-offs for the Division A promotion, Montenegro, the only undefeated team of the Qualifying Round stole 70:50 victory in Norrkoping.

Montenegro started with 20:14 after the opening quarter,while Sweden reduced to 3 points after 26-23 in the second frame. The third quarter became the decisive in the game as the hosts produced 24-10 in it. Martin Ringstrom made it 77:57 midway
through the last period. Grant added another three for 77:60, while Kjellbom
posted two for 77:62. Drobnjak however responded from the arc for 80:62 and
Cook brought 83:62. Massambra made the same for the Scandinavian team, whilst
Golubovic posted one for 84:65. Martin Ringstrom and Vladimir Dasic exchanged the baskets later in the quarter for 86:67. The teams did not rush to score in the
last minutes and Akesson could bring 86:71. Rakocevic made a dunk for
88:71 making the final score.

Nikola Pekovic paced all the winners with 17 points for Division A birth. Drobnjiak and Vladimir Dasic followed him with 14 points each. Martin Ringstrom finished the night with 17 points in the losing effort, while Mats Levin notched 13.   This season there are going to be 2 participating teams from Montenegro in the Eurohold Balkan League - Mornar Bar and Lovcen Cetin
