KK Mornar Bar signs three new faces

Montenegrin outfit Mornar is set to make debut in EUROHOLD Balkan League this season. In their hopes of achieving good result in their first season in BIBL,Mornar has brought in three new players. According to reports from Montenegrin media, Mornar has reached agreement with Radovan Pesic and two American players Anthony Brown and Chad Barnes. Other than reinforcing their roster, Mornar has also welcomed renowned coach Mihajlo Pavicevic who will be working as assistant coach.
Anthony Brown played collegiate basketball first at Carl Albert State College. During
2006-2007 season, he appeared in 30 games and averaged 21.4 points per game. He then transferred to Division I Oklahoma State University where he played at for previous two seasons. This will be his first professional contract.
Chad Barnes played for New Orleans University, before signing his fist professional
contract in 2008. He agreed a deal with Deportivo Tachira in Venezuela. Last season Barnes played for Polish outfit Victoria Gornik Walbrzych where in 10 games he averaged 10 games: 5.2 points and 2.9 rebounds per game.
Radovan Pesic started his career with Buducnost Pec in 1997. Since than he has played for host of clubs including Zastava Kragujevac, Kraski Zidar, Primorka,
OKK Beograd and Lovcen. In 2006 he signed a deal with Radnicki Kragujevac where he has played in previous 2 seasons. Last season he averaged 7.1 points and 2.1 rebounds in 15 League games. This will be his second stint with Mornar.
