The hosts from Yambol won the annual men`s tournament "Petar Maystorov". Ivan Cholakov`s side was able to win the 9th edition of the tourney, after collecting 3 wins from 3 games. In their last game today, they defeated the participant in the Eurohold Balkan League - Euroins Cherno More with a score of 96:82.
 
Yulian Radionov played his best game for Yambol so far, and scored 14 points along with 7 rebounds and 6 assists. Former Cherno More man Michael Earl added 13 points and 5 rebounds, and Dimitar Angelov was the third starter to finish in double digits - scoring 11 points. Two of the team`s foreign additions came with good performance off the bench - Macedonian Zlatko Gocevski scored 15 points, while American Jimmy Hunt added 17.
 
For Euroins Cherno More More Simeon Tsenov and Alexander Yanev scored 15 points each, while Eric Webb added 13 and 6 rebounds. Nikolay Kolev was the best player off the bench with his 8 points.
 
In the other game from the last day of the tournament, a battle between two participants in the Eurohold Balkan League, Levski sealed the second spot, after defeating Spartak Pleven 95:80.
 
Aaron Harper scored 22 points for Titi Papazov`s team, while Asen Velikov added 17. Stanislav Slaveykov finished with 15, and Zlatin Georgiev added 14 off the bench. Team captain Stefan Georgiev played his first game as a starter, after healing from an injury and scored 9 points. Vassil Evtimov played good after collecting 12 rebounds in just 17 minutes.
 
For Spartak Pleven, Joseph Kennerly III finally showed why Darin Velikov signed him and scored 19 points, along with 7 rebounds in 32 minutes. Cvetoslav Ostrev finished with 13, and Rosen Sofroniev added 11 points.
