Summary of the domestic championships

On Saturday, october 10, started Serbian A League. The two participants from Serbia in EUROHOLD BIBL this season, grabbed wins. OKK Beograd, newcomer in the league, took a surprising victory as a guest over Napredak - 78-64. Dragan Kruscic was the key player for the succes with 29 points. Dragan Markovic made a double-double for Napredak - 25 points and 10 rebounds.
KK Metalac took a hard 60-58 home win against Tamis. Vuksan Gagovic shined in this victory with 21 points and 8 boards. Dejan Dokic and Petar Ivanic scored 11 points each in the game.
      Next week, on october 18, OKK will host Radnicki in Beograd, while KK Metalac will play away against Proleter Naftagas.
      In Romanian Division A, CS Gaz Metan Medias stays undefeated after crushing victory 103-72 over CS Gladiator Cluj at home. Jarrett Howell erupted with 27 points, 5 assists and 6 rebounds. Totaly 5 players from Gaz Metan finished with more than 10 points. LeRoy  Dawson posted 20 points in the losing effort.
        Steaua Turabo defeated Elba Timisoara 85-76 and took first victory this season. Ronald Timus was unstoppable with 30 points for Steaua. Rilski Sportist former player Dragoslav Papic collected 14 points, 5 rebounds and 4 assists for the winners. Milos Pesic scored 22 points while Rade Dzambic finished with 21 for the guests.
      In the next round CS Gaz Metan hosts another unbeaten team - CS Otopeni. Steaua Turabo is going to Craiova to face the same name team.
      Championships in Bulgaria and Macedonia is starting next week.
