Jason Smith with a torn knee ligament

             BC Levski playmaker Jason Smith is a suspicion of severe trauma. Yesterday he was injured during the friendly game against Overgas. Well-known traumatologist Dr. Tony Georgiev showed that Smith has a torn ligament on the left knee. Pending review on magnetic resonance imaging, which will confirm or refute the diagnosis.
        "This is a heavy blow for us because Smith is one of our key players" said Levski coach Konstantin Papazov. "We will wait for the results of the magnetic resonance imaging, but Dr Georgiev was a very experienced person and unfortunately it is a
very unpleasant injury."
        Yesterday BC Levski played a friendly game against Overgas in Hristo Botev Hall, which was part of their preparation for matches over the weekend.On Saturday Levski hosts Balkan at 18.00 in a match of the Bulgarian National Basketball League and on Sunday Overgas will visis Dunav 2007 in Ruse at derby the of Bulgarian "A" group. The game between both teams was umcommon - they played a total of six quarters in which coaches Konstantin Papazov and Yanko Yanchev used different versions of the tactics in their attack and defense, and rotated all their squads.
