Spartak Pleven without key players against KK Mornar Injury trouble in Pleven (BulgarianBasket)

Three players of Spartak Pleven starting five will not be able to play against KK Mornar on Wednesday anounced from the club. Top-team shooter Ilia Stankov is sick, and also missed Spartak last game, lost in Botevgrad to Balkan 52-64. Other two players were injured during the game. Rob Preston has torn thigh ligaments after he fell bad in the second half due to slipper floor in "Balkan" hall. Excepting Preston, captain Hrisimir Dimitrov got  bruise as soon as the American forward left, Dimitrov turned thumb of his left foot and is also out of the squad. After team came back in Pleven, Hrisi was immediately transported to hospital where he got surgery nevertheless it is not the worst, but Dimitrov will miss some games.
          Spartak Pleven head coach Darin Velikov said that despite the problems, the team is preparing for the upcoming match against Montenegrin Mornar on Wednesday evening at 18.00 in "Balkanstroy" hall. "We have an idea about our opponent, we watched some their games on DVD. We lost a few matches with a few points and it is time to break this negative series who chased us from the beginning of the season. All the guys on the team are males, I know them very well and I am
sure all will be mobilized for the match on Wednesday, despite the
absence of three key players" added Velikov.
