OKK Beograd is going to face Bulgarian BC Levski in the second round of EUROHOLD Balkan League. Both teams started with dramatic victories in the openers, according to Spartak Pleven and KK Feni Industries.OKK Beograd is a typical representative of the Serbian school, as far is the leader in the championship of Serbia, but this is without the five teams that play in the Adriatic League. After 6 games played they share first place with another Serbian participant in the league - KK Metalac Valjevo. There are no foreigners in the team, depending mainly on their own cadres. Key players are playmaker Nikola Lepojevic, center Milos Suzic and forwards Dragan Kruscic  and Dejan Knezevic. For a young team like the OKK Beograd, where the average age was only 22 years, participation in EUROHOLD Balkan League is a big challenge.           Levski probably made the most valuable selection for some years and expectations before the start of the season were great. The team began his participation in EUROHOLD Balkan League with a home win 90-88 over Macedonian KK Feni Industries after a successfull lay-up by Pavel Ivanov at the end. However in the domestic championship, Levski was crushed in the first round by last year champion Lukoil Academic, and left a lot of questions after the game. After that they beat consecutively Euroins Cherno More, Balkan and Rilski Sportist. Playmaker Jason Smith is out for indefinitely after a successfull surgery on his knee, but all other players are on the line for the visit to Belgrade. New signing Bobby Frasor, and former player of KK Feni Industries Donald Cole, began to improved their form and that could be shown in the last 2 games of the team.
