CS Gaz Metan defeated Euroins Cherno More in Medias

             CS Gaz Metan wins over Euroins Cherno More - 85-68 at home in the first match of the second round in Group A of EUROHOLD Balkan League, after a powerful last quarter. The hosts started the game better and after the end of the first period took lead to 23:20. However in the second quarter "Sailors" managed to play better and deservedly took the lead. Half-time come to 45-44 for Euroins Cherno More. American point guard Eric Webb played an excellent first half as he scored 19 points in 20 minutes. After the break Bulgarian team increased his lead to 8 points for 46:54, a fter a few good plays from the duo Kyosev - Yanev. Americans Devin Mitchell and Jarrett Howell and Serbian center Ivan Zigeranovic were those got back Gaz Metan into the game. In the end of the third quarter the result was 61-63 for Euroins Cherno More. That portend an interesting finish to the game. 7 minutes before the end Varna`s head coach Daniel Dimitrov asked time out to score 69-65 for the team from Medias. This break does not reflect well on the "Sailors" because in the next 4 minutes they failed to score any one basket. This one allowed Gaz Metan to make a comfortable 10-points lead, 3 minutes to the end. Young bulgarian players just wait the game to finish and helped Gaz Metan to
make their victory more expressive. Most efficient for the winners were Americans Howell with 24 points and Mitchell, who made a double-double - 15 points and 11 rebounds. Ivan Zigeranovic entered helped them withhis 16 points and 6 rebounds. Eric Webb finished with 24 points, 6 assists and 5 rebounds, but made a  11 technical errors. Krum Doychinov added 14 points and 7 rebounds, while Kyosev and Yanev ended by 11 and13 points for "Sailors".

Macedonian champion Rabotnicki, while Euroins Cherno More will play against Rilski Sportist in Samokov.
