Lovcen victorious after overtime in Skopje

KK Lovcen Cetinje achieved their first ever win in the EUROHOLD Balkan League. The Montenegrin side won against Rabotnicki in Skopje with 102:108 after overtime.
 
The game started better for the guests from Montenegro, who won the first quarter with 6 points - 20:26. In the second period, Marin Dokuzovski`s side got better, and after 24:21, they were down only 3 points at halftime - 44:47. After 30 minutes of play the score was still 3 points in favor of the visiting side from Lovcen, so it was all going to be decided in the fourth quarter. The last period turned out to be really interesting, and after RAbotnicki won 32:29, the final score was tied at 92:92, so the game went into overtime.
 
In the extra 5 minutes of playing time, Lovcen managed to score 16 points, against just 10 for Rabotnicki, which disappointed the 700 spectators in Gradski Park, as their favorites lost 102:106.
 
Dimitar Mirakovski was simply magnificient, scoring a total of 42 points, including 9/13 from three-point land. Gjorgji Cekovski added 27 along with 11 rebounds and 4 assists, and Enes Hadjibulic finished with 19, but that wasn`t enough for Marin Dokuzovski`s side.
 
For the winners from Lovcen Nikola Ivanovic scored the most points - 34. Aleksa Popovic added 20, while newcomer Damjan Kandic finished with 16.
