OKK Beograd is looking to stay unbeaten

          The schedule of Round 3 sets Serbian OKK Beograd against Romanian CSA
Steaua Turabo from Bucharest. Both teams are newcomer in the domestic championships,  as OKK won Serbian B league last season. The team from Beograd is a real surprise this season as they are leaders in Serbian A league with 6-1 record, and the only undefeated team in Group B in EUROHOLD BIBL with 2 wins from 2 games. OKK Beograd took dratamatic victories over the two Bulgarian representatives in Group B. In the opener OKK grabed an away win in Pleven against the local Spartak 94-93, after a basket 0.7 seconds before the end. Last week they overcame BC Levski after overtime 103-100 in Pionir Hall in Beograd.CSA
Steaua Turabo have 0-2 balance as they lost their first two games at home - against Montenegrin KK Mornar and Macedonian runner-up KK Feni Industries. The key match-ups is going to be between the guards - Nikola Lepojevic (OKK`s most efficient player - 23.5 ppg, 4.5 rpg and 3.4 apg ) and Steaua`s last addition Monty Mack ( 23 ppg, 7 rpg and 2 apg ), and between the Beograd`s best scorer Dragan Kruscic (24 ppg) and the other American in the Romanian side - Ronald Timus ( 15.5 ppg and 3.5 rpg ) who has a impressive index in Romanian Division A, but in the Balkan League he still hasn`t showed his potential. Of course we should keep our eyes on Dragoslav Papic ( 12 ppg, 5.5 rpg, 2stpg ) and Virgil Stanescu ( 19 ppg, 9 rpg ) from Steaua Turabo, and Serbian`s big men Milos Suzic ( 17 ppg, 7 rpg ).
