Lovcen maintains winning streak against Metalac

Lovcen Cetinje won their game from the third round of the EUROHOLD Balkan League against KK Metalac Valjevo, and are now on a 2-game winning streak. The score from today`s game was 64:54, and in the second round, Lovcen defeated Rabotnicki away from home.   Just two of Lovcen`s players scored in double figures, but considering the final score that`s not a surprise, and also, there was only one player from Metalac to score more than 10 points.   Lovcen started the game strongly, and deservedly led after the first 10 minutes of play, with a score of 19:11. In the second period, things slowed down a bit, and after a 13:13 tie, the score halfwa through the game was 32:24 for the home side.   After halftime, Lovcen continued to push, and after 30 minutes of play they were up by 10 points - 46:36. In the final period of the game, Metalac weren`t able to do a turnaround or at least to melt down the difference, so the final score was 64:54.   Aleksa Popovic scored the most points for Lovcen - 21, as he also added 5 rebounds and 4 assists to his stats, but also commited 4 turnovers. Bojan Dubljevic came off with 12 points off the bench, and Marko Milosevic and Damjan Kandic had 9 and 8.   For KK Metalac Nenad Stefanovic scored 12 points.   After that win, Lovcen is on second position in Group A, with a 2-1 balance, while Metalac, who have a game less, are on the bottom with two losses.   In the next round Lovcen host Rilski Sportist, while Metalac face CS Gaz Metan Medias at home, but before that have a postponed game with Rilski Sportist next week.
