Gaz Metan wins, Steaua with a lost in Romania

CS Gaz Metan Medias won against Rovinari with 73:93 away from home to maintain their third position in the ranking in Division A in Romania.   Tudor Dumitrescu was Gaz Medan`s top scorer with 21 points, while Jarrett Howell added 18. Youngster Titus Nicoara came off the bench, scoring 13 points. Howell also had 7 assists to his stats.   CSA Steaua Turabo failed to win against the leader U-Mobitelco Cluj Napoca, as they were defeated with a score of 84:88 at home. Monty Mack and Ronald Timus performed great, but it seems like that wasn`t enough for Steaua to win. Mack scored 24 points, while Timus had 22 and 7 rebounds. Dragoslav Papic added 21, and Adrian Voinescu scored 11.   In the next round of the EUROHOLD Balkan League Gaz Metan are visiting KK Metalac, while Steua are hosting Levski.
