Rilski Sportist - the champions from the first edition of the EUROHOLD Balkan League, are facing Serbian side KK Metalac Valjevo tomorrow, in a postponed game from the second round of BIBL. The game starts at 18.00 in Arena Samokov.

Rilski will be looking for their second straight win in the League this season, as after the weak start (loss to Rabotnicki in Skopje - 80:76), they won against Euroins Cherno More (88:77). Also, Aleksandar Todorov`s side has to prove a point in front of their hometown fans, because despite the win in the last round of the NBL against Chernomorec Bourgas (96:85) it`s going to be hard to forget the loss from Balkan 10 days ago, at home - 74:80. There are good news for all the Rilski fans out there - the team captain Aleksandar Gruev, who had trouble with injuries in the past month is getting in shape, and he showed that against Chernomorec (23 points and 8 assists) and against Euroins Cherno More (19 points, 6 assists and 4 steals). Also the American duo in the paint - Travis Peterson and David Burgess are a threat, as in the last BIBL game they combined for a total of 41 points and 19 rebounds.

On the other side, KK Metalac are an excellent, young team, and they are proving that, by performing really good at home in Serbia. They will be even more motivated, searching for their first win in their debut season of the EUROHOLD Balkan League. Until now they have two losses - 85:73 from Euroins Cherno More, and 64:54 from Lovcen. Dragomir Marojevic is leading the team in scoring (14.5 points) and in rebounds (10.0). Stefan Bircevic was on fire in the last round in Serbia, scoring 25 points, and some of the other youngsters on the rosters can be danger, so we are going to have a good game for all the basketball fans tomorrow.
