December is starting off with a game in the EUROHOLD Balkan League. On the first day of the new month, Bulgarian Cup holders Levski are facing CSA Steaua Turabo, away from home in Bucharest.   In the last round of their domestic leagues, the teams achieved a win and a loss - Levski won after overtime against Spartak Pleven (100:105), while Steaua suffered a heavy loss in Romania against Oradea (98:69).   Both teams have a lot of firepower, and also the key figures for both sides are Americans. Monty Mack impressed in his first 2 games in the Balkan League with the Steaua jersey, as he averaged 19.0 points, 7.0 rebounds and 4.5 assists. Ronald Timus is already a proved scorer, but he isn`t in his best shape in the last weeks. He`s having stats of 14.3 points, 3.3 rebounds and 1.3 assists in the 3 games he played in BIBL. Dragoslav Papic can be considered as a Balkan League veteran, as he is in his second season playing in the league, so far having 15.7 points, 4.7 boards and almost 2 steals per game.   On the other side, Levski go in this game really motivated, but also not really fresh. After a hard overtime win in Pleven, Titi Papazov will be counting once again on Donald Cole, Aaron Harper and Bobby Frasor to perform good for the "Blues" as they did in Pleven. Cole and Harper are averaging a combined total of 36.6 points (Harper - 17.3 and Cole - 19.3) and are a threat for any team against them. Bobby Frasor is finding his rhytm, and he has 13.5 points, 3.5 rebounds and 3 assits in the 2 games in the Balkan League so far. Also we shouldn`t underestimate the team leader and captain Stefan Georgiev - Toro, whose stats are 17.3 points and 8.7 rebounds per game.   CSA Steaua Turabo are still looking for their first win in the EUROHOLD Balkan League, as after an awful start they are 0-3. Levski are with a positive balance of 2-1, but a win in Bucharest will be very important for them.   The game is going to be broadcasted live on RNT from 18.00.
