EUROHOLD Balkan League Round 4 Preview

EUROHOLD Balkan League Round 4 Preview Lovcen are looking for win #3 against Rilski
01-12-2009 | 16:33
Here is a preview of all the games in Round 4, except CSA Steaua Turabo - Levski, which is played a day earlier.   Group A:   17.30 Euroins Cherno More - Rabotnicki   Daniel Dimitrov`s side still can`t find the right rhytm, both in the NBL in Bulgaria and in the BIBL, so Cherno More will be looking to get a win on this one, especially against Rabotnicki, a team with a lot of problems lately. Eric Webb and Pavels Veselovs still owe big time to the fans and the club management. Webb is disappointing, despite his 19.0 points and 5.7 assists in the Balkan League so far, he also has almost 7 turnovers. For Rabotnicki, the key to winning this game is the good play of the well-known in Bulgaria Gjorgji Cekovski (26 PPG, 9.5 RPG, 4.5 APG) and Dimitar Mirakovski (27.0 PPG), who are well suported by Enes Hadjibulic and Darko Sokolov.   18.00 Lovcen - Rilski Sportist   In Cetinje, Lovcen are hosting the current EUROHOLD Balkan League champions - Rilski Sportist. The team from Samokov is definitely underachieving so far in the season, and the adding of Lamont Jones to the roster, can be a massive boost for Aleksandar Todorov`s side, as LJ is a really experienced and quality player. On the other side, Lovcen are a young and unexperienced team, mainly by local players, but they are still a dangerous squad.   18.00 KK Metalac - CS Gaz Metan Medias   In this one, Gaz Metan will be looking to maintain their winning streak, and increase it to four games in a row, but the difference this time is that Bruno Soce`s team is going to play away from home for the first time in the BIBL this season. Metalac are a quality team, as they are showing in the local championship in Serbia, but maybe the more experienced and quality foreign players will take this one to CS Gaz Metan.   Group B:   19.00 Feni Industries - Spartak Pleven   Spartak will be looking for a much needed win, which can take them out of the mini crisis they are currently into, and also could be a great present for Rob Preston`s birthday. Feni are 2-1 and they are hoping for sure, to win all home games, but this is going to be a difficult and unpredictable one especially after Hrisimir Dimitrov is back, and had a fantastic game against Levski. Tough and interesting match-up in Kavadarci.
