            Levski trailed by 16 points, but this does not prevent them from taking a relatively comfortable victory as a guest against Steaua Bucharest 75-69. This success was the second straight as a guest on "blue", which align them with the temporary leader in the Group B standings OKK Beograd with 3 wins and 1 loss. Romanian side already have a 4-game losing streak and reduced to an absolute minimum their chances to play at the quarter-finals.

           The hosts from Bucharest started the game stronger and took a comfortable lead 21-5 in the 7th minute of the first period. However, thanks to his two best shooters this season - American Donald Cole and Aaron Harper, Levski narrow the gap to 26-16 after 10 minutes of play. The second quarter started with two successful free-throws by Bobby Frasor and after that new three consecutive baskets by the Bulgarians decreased the score to 29-27 six minutes before the half . Both teams retired on the half-time by 2-point lead for the hosts from Bucharest - 38-36.

           The second half started like the first and Titi Papazov players scored their first basket after nearly two and a half minutes -  three pointer by Assen Velikov.   The “Blues” made a 12-0 series and after the third quarter Levski controlled the situation on the court 56-52 before the final period. In the last ten minutes Aaron Harper scored 2 successful shots behind the three point line and gave up a comfortamble 10 points lead 62-52 to his team, when Steaua’s head coach Predrag Vasic called for a time-out 8 minutes before the end. Again Harper made 2 successful free-throws and increased the distance up to 13 points in the last 2 minutes, but after some good expressions from Dragoslav Papic and Monty Mack the hosts brought down to 67-73.However, in the remaining 18 seconds is not a miracle happened and both teams exchanged 2 points for a final score 69-75 for Levski.

           Donald Cole finished with 20 points, while Harper added 16 for the success. With double-double ended Levski’s captain Stefan Georgiev – 13 points and 12 rebounds in only 22 minutes on the court. For Steaua Turabo American guard Monty Mack scored 21 points, while Dragoslav Papich made his first double-double in the EUROHOLD Balkan League this season - 13 points and 11 rebounds.
