Easy win for Levski against Mornar

Levski finished their games for 2009 in the EUROHOLD Balkan League with an easy home win. In Universiada Hall in Sofia, Konstantin Papazov`s side didn`t had any trouble beating the Montenegrin Mornar Bar with no less than 24 points of difference - 109:85.
 
That was their fourth win so far in Group B of the EUROHOLD Balkan League, while Mornar suffered a defeat for the third time. Levski are on top of the group with a 4-1 balance, while the team from Bar is now fifth with 2-3.
 
The Montenegrin side was close to Levski just in the first period, as they were down only 2 points after 10 minutes of play - 23:21. From the start of the second quarter, until the end of the game, the only thing Levski did was to get a bigger difference in the score. After 24:16 in the second period, the "Blues" were up 10 points at halftime - 47:37. After the halftime break, Mornar continued to sink without a trace in Universiada. 35:27 in the third, and 27:21 in the closing period gave Levski a comfortable 24 point difference after 40 minutes - 109:85.
 
Donald Cole was the top scorer for the home team. The former Feni Industries player notched in 30 points in just 29 minutes of play. He didn`t miss a shot for 2 points (9/9) and added 2 three-pointers and shot 6/7 from the charity stripe. The team captain Stefan Georgiev also was on fire. Toro was 10/10 from the field and 3/3 from the free-throw line, for a total of 23 points and 10 rebounds, as he had the highest efficiency in the game - 36. Four other players scored in double digits for Levski. Aaron Harper didn`t have a single point in the first half, but after that he finished with 15. Bobby Frasor scored 12 points, including an almost out of bounds last second shot over the backboard, along with 6 assists. Asen Velikov finished with 11 points and 9 assists. Pavel Ivanov came off the bench to score 10.
 
Nemanja Radovic was the best scorer for Mornar, as he also finished with a double-double - 20 points and 12 rebounds. Anthony Brown scored 19 points in 26 minutes, and the team`s newest addition - Nick Stallings finished the game with 12 points. Two other players finished with 9 points each - Filip Samojlovic and Vladimir Mihajlovic.
 
Levski outrebounded their opposition 39 to 29, and also had 16 assists more - 30 to 14.
