Tomorrow, 13.01.2010 all around the Balkans are going to be played games from Round 6 of the EUROHOLD Balkan League. In the first BIBL round for the new year there are going to be quite a few interesting games.Group A:
18.00 Lovcen - CS Gaz Metan Medias
This is going to be tough home game for Lovcen, as they are facing the squad of CS Gaz Metan Medias. The Romanian team, led by head coach Bruno Soce was unbeaten in all 5 games, but suffered a 0-20 defeat against Rilski Sportist due to having too much Americans on the field. Even if we have that in mind, now they released Kitwana Rhymer and signed Serbian Milos Pavlovic, and maintain in their position as favorites. Lovcen signed two new young players, but probably the missing part for the team from Cetinje is exactly the opposite - experience.
19.30 KK Metalac - Euroins Cherno More
Euroins Cherno More won easily the first meeting between those two in Varna, and probably have to be considered favorites, after acquiring two good new players - Dimitar Mirakovski, who is well known around, and Gary Ware who will have to prove that he deserves a spot on the roster yet. Metalac have played only one game at home in which they lost, so they have to go after a home win without any doubt.
The third game in Group A should be between the teams of Rilski Sportist and Rabotnicki Skopje, but due to some issues in the Macedonian team, it`s postponed. Anyway, besides all the rumors around the media, the BIBL Sports Director Shay Shtriks has declared that Rabotnicki will always be welcome in the EUROHOLD Balkan League as long as they fulfill all their obligations as a participant.
Group B:
18.00 OKK Beograd - Spartak Pleven
This is supposed to be one thrilling encounter, as Spartak Pleven will definitely be looking for payback, after the dramatic loss at home back in Round 1. Even though Pleven had some important players out sick during the last week, they still have every chance of getting the W in Belgrade. OKK added center Sasa Mijajlovic who is expected to play against Spartak, and should strenghten up the team`s fire power in the post.
18.00 Feni Industries - Levski
Another exciting game in front of us, as in the season opener Feni were close to upsetting Levski at home. On the other side, Titi Papazov`s side isn`t in the best possible mind state, as they suffered a heavy loss against Rilski Sportist in Bulgaria in the last round. This is probably the most unpredictable game this round, and Levski will have trouble again if Bobby Frasor isn`t healthy and ready to play.
18.00 Mornar Bar - CSA Steaua Turabo
Last but not least, Steua is visiting Mornar in Montenegro and they will be looking to get revenge for the loss in Bucharest. Also, in the first game between the two clubs Steaua didn`t have Monty Mack and Anthony Myles, but on the other side Mornar are struggling at the playmaker position, as they already released two Americans and will now be relying only on the local talents.
