EUROHOLD Balkan League Round 7 Preview OKK again in Bulgaria (spartak-basket)
26-01-2010 | 11:02 | Alexander Sotirov

All games are on 27.01.2010

Group A:

18.00 Lovcen – Rabotnicki

Lovcen,Cetinje

Rabotnicki are officially still part of the EUROHOLD Balkan League, after they had some problems, and they will probably be looking to show that they deserve their
spot in the BIBL. On the other side they are facing the young team of Lovcen.
Despite that the average age of the Montenegrin squad is just 22 years, they
already won against Rabotnicki in Skopje, and are leaders in Group A with a balance of 4-2, so they will be looking to satisfy their fans with a home win.

18.00 KK Metalac – Rilski Sportist

Hala sportova 15.septembar, Valjevo

Rilski Sportist, the champions from the first edition of the EUROHOLD Balkan League
will be looking for a win in Valjevo, against the local side Metalac, as the team of head coach Aleksandar Todorov didn’t get the performance they wished for so far, as they are 3-2 and occupy the 4th place in Group A, but still they have a game less, as they have to face Rabotnicki on a later stage. Another MVP performance by Travis Peterson and some help from Lamont Jones and Aleksandar Gruev may seal a win for Rilski in Valjevo.

Group B

18.00 Mornar – Feni Industries

Jugoslavija, Bar

Mornar are hosting in their new hall in Bar the other team from Macedonia – Feni Industries. The team from Kavadarci, who played at the final four in Samokov last year showed that they can play really good when they want, so we are waiting for a
intriguing and interesting game in Bar. Mornar are also performing good in their debut participation in the BIBL, as they are fourth in Group B with 3-3 balance.

18.00 Levski – OKK Beograd

Universiada, Sofia

Levski will be looking for revenge against OKK Beograd, as in Belgrade they lost in one of the most dramatic and interesting games in the BIBL so far this season. OKK are a typical proof of how talented Serbian basketball is, as they only have local players on the roster. On the other side Levski has 4 foreigners, who add much class to the team and it’s going to be an interesting encounter between those two teams. The game is going to be broadcasted live on BNT Sat.

18.00 CSA Steaua Turabo – Spartak Pleven

Sala Mihai Viteazul, Bucharest

Spartak Pleven are currently out of the first four places who give right of
participation in the next round, so they will be giving out a 110% to ge to the
win in Romania. On the other side Steua are still winless with a balance of 0-6, and despite the quality players they have, they are struggling to find the right way so far.
