Sixth win for OKK Beograd in the BIBL

OKK Beograd defeated the visiting Montenegrin side Mornar Bar at home in Pionir, in order to achieve their sixth win in Group B of the EUROHOLD Balkan League. The final score was 84:77, as this was Mornar`s fifth defeat in the BIBL.
 
OKK started strong, and were up 7 points - 16:9 after the first 5 minutes. Mornar made a 8 to nothing run to find themselves up by 1 point - 16:17. Until the end of the first quarter they outscored the home side 5:10, in order to be ahead 21:27.
 
OKK Beograd played an extremely strong second period, as the result in those second 10 minutes was 29:23, and the score halfway through the game was 50:45.
 
The third quarter of the game was really low scoring, as the two teams combined for a total of 23 points, as the score was 13:10 in OKK Beograd`s favor. The score after 30 minutes was 63:55 for the home team.
 
In the decisive closing period, the home team showed more experience, especially in the closing minutes of the game, as they continued to dominate and their lead was often more than 10 points. FInally, the score was settled at 84:77 despite they lost the last period 21:22.
 
Six OKK players managed to finish in double digits, as one of them scored more than 20 points. Dragan Kruscic scored 23 along with 6 rebounds and 6 assists for an efficiency rating of 31. Nikola Korac and Dragan Mitrovic scored 14 points each, and Branko Andzic added 11. Slobodan Dundjerski and Milos Suzic scored 10 points each.
 
For Mornar Bar Vladimir Mihailovic led the way with 21 points. Milos Djurisic added 15 points and 4 assists. Djordje Gagic was the third and last player to finish with more than 10 points, as he scored 13.
 
That was OKK Beograd`s sixth win so far, as they are second with a balance of 6-2. Mornar Bar have a balance of 3-5 and are fourth - the last position that gives right to participate in the next round of the EUROHOLD Balkan League.
 
In the next round OKK Beograd are traveling to Bucharest to face CSA Steua Turabo, while Mornar Bar are facing Levski at home in Bar.
