Croatia joins the EUROHOLD Balkan League

Croatia will become part of the EUROHOLD Balkan League for the upcoming 2010/2011 season. That became clear shortly after Sofia was chosen for arena of this years`s BIBL Final Four.
 
The League office has already received a letter from the Croatian Basketball Federation with a proposal for a participating club, but that will be discussed during the Board meeting in Sofia in April.
 
The decision about Croatia joining the EUROHOLD Balkan League will become official during the days of the Final Four - 13-15.04.2010 in Sofia, Bulgaria.
 
This season Croatia had four participants in the European club competitions - Cibona Zagreb in the Euroleague, KK Zadar in the Eurocup and Cedevita Zagreb and KK Zagreb in the FIBA Euro Challenge.
