The second semifinal of the 2010 EUROHOLD Balkan League Final Four is probably going to be more interesting for the hometown fans from Sofia, because it’s between two Bulgarian teams – the hosts from Levski Sofia and Euroins Cherno More from Varna.

Just a week ago, Levski lost exactly against Euroins Cherno More in the NBL, at home in Universiada by a single point – 85:86, after Gary Ware gave his side the win with a tip-in less than 2 seconds before the end.

Euroins Cherno More will have to focus on guarding Levski’s American players, as Aaron Harper is having a brilliant season so far, averaging 20.6 points, as he rarely has a game with less than 15 points. Donald Cole, who is currently the EUROHOLD Balkan League all-time leading scorer with a total of 475 points and is having a good season with Levski, after joining the blues from the other semifinalist – Feni Industries. Also Bobby Frasor is already in good shape We shouldn’t forget to mention the Bulgarian key players for Levski – Zlatin and Stefan Georgievi and Asen Velikov. Gjorgji Cekovski was a solid addition at mid season and he proved that already.

On the other side – Daniel Dimitrov relies on young and talented players – starting from Vasil Kyosev, going through Tihomir Zhelev who isn’t going to play due to an injury and finishing with Aleksandar Yanev. Dimitar Mirakovski and Hrisimir Dimitrov, along with the team captain Simeon Tsenov bring in the much needed experience to the youngsters. Also, Gary Ware is playing better and better with every single game, and Levski will have trouble with him in the pain.

The game tips off at 20.45 in Universiada Hall in Sofia, as it’s going to be broadcasted live on BNT SAT and at http://live.sportmedia.tv.
