Bosnia might have a team in the BIBL next year

Today at the press conference, in which Mr. Shay Shtriks, Sports Director of the EUROHOLD Balkan League and Mr. Asen Hristov, President of the EUROHOLD Balkan League were participants it became clear that there is a request from a team from Bosnia & Herzegovina to join the BIBL next season.
 
The matter will be discussed next week and a decision will be taken by the Board of the BIBL.
 
Shay Shtriks and Asen Hristov discussed the decisions that were taken in the 3rd Board Meeting of the EUROHOLD Balkan League, on the previous day. Some of those include changing the quarterfinal format to the "Best of 3" series, changes regarding the transfer periods, and more.
 
The president of the BIBL, Asen Hristov declared that he is confident with the way the second edition of the League ran all year long and finished.
 
"The name of the league remains the same for next year, after EUROHOLD will remain the main sponsor. The problem with a team from Israel playing in the BIBL is purely financial, because only the travel expenses will be more than 50.000 Euro."
 
About a Bosnian team joining the league, he said that it would be good, but the decision should be taken after some serious thinking, because there are issues with having a a visa for that country.
