Feni Industries takes 2-1 lead in the Superleague Semis

         Feni Industries took one more step towards the Macedonian Superleague Playoff Finals after defeating Torus at home 94-83. This gives team from Kavadarci 2-1 lead in the series and they will have a chance to close it on Wednesday.
         From the opening tip-off it was a closely contested game. Torus players were
able to match Feni`s intensity and to grab 21-24 lead after initial ten minutes. In the second quarter, Feni players went on the run which gave them their first bigger lead on the night. By the halftime, they have turned the game to their favor and were up 47-41. After the breather, hosts continued where they left off and have further increased their advantage. As result, Feni entered the final period holding onto fairly comfortable 71-59. In the last 10 minutes, Torus players gave their best
to try and make a comeback, but hosts were in total control. The quarter was spent in exchange of baskets so Feni players celebrated valuable 11 point margin win.
         Vlado Popovic led the way for Feni with 19 points. He got support from Goran
Samardziev who added double-double of 17 points and 10 rebounds, as well as Slobodan Mihajlovski who contributed with 16 points and 13 rebounds. On the other side, Torus got 21 points from Dimitar Karadzovski. Aleksandar Opacic and Jovan Markovski were also good as they scored 14 and 12 points respectively.
         Game number 4 is on Wednesday 21th April.
