Bulgaria:   In Bulgaria, the country with most BIBL participants, all of the teams, playing in the EUROHOLD Balkan League played in the NBL Playoffs.   Euroins Cherno More Varna got knocked out in the first round, after they lost their series to Balkan 2-0. Earlier in the season, they got the bronze medals in the Cup of Bulgaria. We remind you, that Cherno More played in the semifinals of the Balkan League.   Levski, the 2010 EUROHOLD Balkan League champions came short of achieving a treble. After they had already won the BIBL and the gold medals in the Cup of Bulgaria, Titi Papazov`s team lost the final series in the playoffs against Lukoil 3-1 and finished the season with 2 cups.   Rilski Sportist, the champions from last year, finished fourth in the NBL, after they lost the series for 3rd place against Balkan 2-0. Earlier in the season, they got the silver medals in the Bulgarian Cup, and also played in the 1/4 finals of the BIBL, where they were knocked out by the future champions from Levski.   Spartak Pleven was knocked out in the first round of the playoffs at home, after losing 2-0 against Levski. In the Cup of Bulgaria, Darin Velikov`s team lost in the 1/4 finals against Euroins Cherno More.   Macedonia:   Feni Industries achieved a double in Macedonia. After winning the Cup, after a win at the final against Torus, they defeated Vardar Osiguruvanje 4-3 in the final series of the playoffs and they took the Macedonian championship at home in Kavadarci.   Rabotnicki finished fifth in the local league, with a balance of 10-15.   Montenegro:   Lovcen Cetinje, the 2010 BIBL finalist performed at a high level at home too. They finished second in the local league, after being defeated by Buducnost Podgorica in the finals 3-0.   The other Montenegrin team - Mornar Bar was defeated by Lovcen in the 1/2 finals of the playoffs by 2-1.   Romania:   CSA Steaua Turabo finished their season early, after being the 7th seed in the regular season, and got knocked out in the first round of the local league playoffs by 3-1. In the end, Ploiesti became the champion of Romania.   Serbia:   In Serbia, OKK Beograd finished their season early as well, since they weren`t able to go through to the second phase of the league. On the other side, KK Metalac Valjevo went through to the next stage, and still has games remaining. In the last round they defeated Borac and now are 7th.
