The biggest non-international basketball referees camp is starting today in Samokov, Bulgaria - from 15.06 until 20.06.
 
In the camp, participants are going to be 55 non-international referees, along with 10 instructors. There will be participants not only from the countries, which have teams in the league, but also from Greece, Saudi Arabia, Japan, Russia, England, Norway, Tunisia, Austria, Germany, Ukraine, Argentina.

 
5 Bulgarian refs will participate in the camp, as their names are Ivailo Resilovski (Haskovo),Milen Tsvetkov (Pleven), Ivan Marinov (Botevgrad), Krasimir Stoinov (Dimitrovgrad) and Nikolay Petrov (Sofia). Some of them already officiated games from the last season of the EUROHOLD Balkan League.
 
The instructors will include Shay Shtriks and Kamen Toshev, respectively the Sports Director and the Competition Manager of the BIBL, both of them ex FIBA referees and current commisioners, along with William Jones of Wales, Alan Richardson of England and Gjorgi Piperkov of Macedonia.
 
All of the referees, from the Balkan countries, who perform good and receive good grades during the camp will officiate games from the EUROHOLD Balkan League during the 2010/2011 season.

 
The management of the BIBL has invited to the camp Ivan Panov, head of the referee commission in the Bulgarian Federation, along with Eleonora Rangelova and Georgi Glushkov. Also, 5 Bulgarian referees will participate in the camp.
