Levski - the champions looking to repeat

From today, every day we will present one of the teams, that will participate in the EUROHOLD Balkan League next season. Of course, the first one is the champion from the last edition of the BIBL - Levski Sofia.
 
Levski had a successful 2009/2010 season, as they won the Cup of Bulgaria, and also finished second in the NBL in Bulgaria.
 
In the EUROHOLD Balkan League, they finished with a combined record of 11 wins and just 3 losses. Without any doubt the most disappointing loss for Titi Papazovs team was the one in the first game of the quarterfinals against Rilski Sportist, but the "Blues" bounced back strong to get to the Final 4, where they didnt have any trouble with the young teams of Lovcen and Euroins Cherno More.
 
Its not clear yet which of Levskis players will remain on the team, and which will leave, but its sure that Levski will be a contender for winning the league back-to-back.
 
Also, 4 of Levskis players are with their native countries national teams - Stefan Georgiev, Zlatin Georgiev and Asen Velikov with Bulgaria, and Gjorgji Cekovski with Macedonia.    Along with all of the above, Levski had some of the top players in the league on the team - Aaron Harper was one of the scoring leaduers (20.7 PPG), along with Donald Cole (20.1 PPG). Stefan Georgiev and Gjorgji Cekovski were a presence in the paint - 8.4 RPG for Toro and 6.8 for Cekovski.
