Popovic and Ivanovic part ways with Lovcen

Two of Lovcen Cetinjes best players from last season - Aleksa Popovic and Nikola Ivanovic are leaving the club, according to Eurobasket.
 
Aleksa Popovic, the 201-cm tall guard-forward, who had some really good games in the EUROHOLD Balkan League has signed a 4-year longcontract with the Montenegrin champion - KK Buducnost Podgorica. During the 2009/2010 season, Popovic appeared in 13 games for Lovcen, but having started only 5 times. Despite coming off the bench most of the times, he averaged 12.7 points, 4.6 rebounds, 3.5 assists and 1.2 steals per game, shooting 64% from the field.
 
Nikola Ivanovic, the 199-cm tall, 20-years old forward, was the teams leading scorer almost all season, and also he was among the top scorers in the EUROHOLD Balkan League. He leaves Lovcen, to sign with VAP Kolossos Rodou from Greece.  In 14 BIBL appearances, Ivanovic averaged 14.7 points, 3.1 rebounds,  2.1 assists and 1.2 steals, with impressive field goal percentages - 80% for 2 points and 41% from beyond the arc.
