Lovcen Cetinje - last seasons surprise

After we presented to you Mornar Bar, we continue our introductions for the upcoming Balkan League season with one of last years pleasant surprises - the team of Lovcen Cetinje.   Under the guidance of experienced head coach Miodrag Cadija enjoyed a succesful debut season in the BIBL, as they overcame expectations and reached the Final 4, losing the final game to the more experienced team of Levski Sofia.   In the closing event of the season, they defeated at the semifinal one of the favourites for winning the trophy - Feni Industries Kavadarci.   Of course the performance of Lovcens great youngsters did not remain un-noticed, as Aleksa Popovic already signed a long-term deal with Montenegrin powerhouse Buducnost Podgorica, while one of the teams top scorers - Nikola Ivanovic left for Greece.   If everything goes as planned, Miodrag Cadija will probably have another setup of talented young players for the upcoming season, but nobody will underestimate Lovcen Cetinje after their great debut in the EUROHOLD Balkan League during the 2009/2010 season.
