Pini Gershon in Bulgaria, after being invited by the BIBL

The former head coach of the Bulgarian Men NT and one of the most successful coaches in European basketball ever - Pini Gershon is in Bulgaria, after he accepted the invitation from the Sports Director of the EUROHOLD Balkan League - Shay Shtriks.
 
Shay Shtriks and Pini Gershon will be discussing the possibility of future cooperation between Gershon and the EUROHOLD Balkan League, as the legendary coach will act as a consultant of the BIBL.
 
Pini Gershon is considered by many specialists and fans as one of the most successful and most respected coaches in European basketball. As head coach of Israely powerhouse Maccabi Tel-Aviv, Gershon has won three times the most important basketball trophy in Europe - the Euroleague. He has also been 7 times national champion of Israel, as along with that he has 7 Israeli cups.
 
He also was head coach of the Bulgarian Men NT, as under his guidance Bulgaria qualified for Eurobasket 2009 in Poland, where they finished 13th.
He is on the list of the 50 greatest contributors to Euroleague Basketball.
