Rilski Sportist - Team #1 in Samokov for 2010

Rilski Sportist, the 2009 EUROHOLD Balkan League champion was named for the second straight year Team #1 in Samokov. This year, once again they didnt meet any opposition from the other sports teams in the city.   Angel Nikolov, the mayor of Samokov awarded Aleksandar Todorov and his boys on a ceremony at the main square on the 21st of August. The team was awarded with a check for 2000 lv.   The team continues preparation for the upcoming season, as Aleksandar Todorov is working with 14 players at this point. Aleksandar Gruev and Atanas Radev are recovering from injuries, while Ivan Lilov and Dimitar Karadjovski will join the team on a later stage, due to their participation with the Bulgarian NT and the Macedonian NT.
