Another new addition to Balkan - Emil Binev

Balkan continue to be the most active EUROHOLD Balkan League team on the transfer market this summer. Today the Greens from Botevgrad acquired one of the biggest Bulgarian talents in the last couple of years - Emil Binev from Chernomorets Burgas.   Binev spent all of his career until now with his home team Chernomorets Burgas. He has played at every level of the Bulgarian youth national teams, as in July this year he was part of the U20 squad which finished fourth in Division B.   Last season he played in 33 games for Chernomorets, including 9 starts. He didnt get much playing time though. Yet he averaged 3.3 points and 1.1 rebound in 11 minutes per game.   Binev has also participated in numerous basketball camps for young talents all over Europe, including the NBA Basketball Without Borders in 2007.
