Balkan too much for the visiting Steaua Turabo Bozov with good performance

         BC Balkan started off their preparations with a friendly win over BC Steaua Turabo. Thanks to great run in the final quarter, Balkan players were able to celebrate 78-70 win in this game. It started off as a closely contested matchup in which both teams were focused more on offense than defence. Most of the first quarter was spent in exchanging of baskets and as result the game was tied at 23 apiece. In the second period, not much changed as neither team was able to assert themselves. Second quarter was again marked by trade of baskets and leads, but at the halftime break it was Balkan who held minimum 40-39 lead. After the breather, more of the same continued as teams were still staying close. Steaua players were able to find an answer to each push by Balkan so the game entered final period with visiting side taking 54-55. Then in the final period, Balkan players increased their intensity. They were able to assert themselves and thanks to 6-0 run they cracked this game open. Visiting side could not recover from this and in the end Balkan came away with 78-70 win.
