An important signing for KK Mornar

            Mornar Bar announced very important signing for the next season.Montenegrin outfit returned its former player Ivan Jelenic , who is seen as great reinforcement at guard position. Jelenic was a member of Mornar Bar from 2003 to 2006. He left them for the Serbian team Vojvodina Srbija Gas Novi Sad. In 2005/06 season, his last one with Mornar Bar before the leaving, Jelenic shined in Serbian and Montenegrin Superleague with 12.3 ppg, 2 rpg and 1.6 apg for 10 games. In A1 league before that, he added 12.8 ppg and 1 apg for 22 appearances.           After Vojvodina Srbija Gas Novi Sad, Ivan Jelenic joined another Serbian team - Swisslions Takovo Vrsac. He played 19 games for them in A League registering 7.6 ppg. His number drastically went down in Superleague. During the summer of 2008, Ivan Jelenic moved to Greece joining Xanthi BF Fashion. In their first season together he exploded with 17.5 ppg, 2.1 rpg and 1.3 apg. He ended the A2 league as the fourth best scorer. Last season Jelenic also was good, but not that good as in 2008/09. For 30 games last season he had 10.6 ppg, 2.5 rpg and 1.4 apg.
