Luka Klarica to miss several months due to injury

           Bad news for Zrinjski Mostar and its player Luka Klarica. Young 21 years old Croatian supposed to have a breakout this year after a good showing in his debut season with the club. Unfortunately, now Klarica is looking at several months off the court due to the injury. Klarica has suffered knee injury, which after further tests showed it is pretty serious one. The player has suffered ruptured ACL which will require surgery and long rehabilitation period. 
         
             Luka Klarica is a product of BC Split junior system. He made his professional debut during 2007-2008 season. He made 3 Adriatic league appearances as well as 6 league game appearances that year. In 2008, Klarica moved to Alkar Sinj where in 8 games he has posted averages of 4.3 points and 1.8 rebounds per game. Following season, he was on the move again, this time signing with Bosnian outfit Zrinjski. In his debut season with the club in 2009, Klarica averaged 8.8 points and 1.5 rebounds per game. So far, Klarica has represented Croatia at youth levels. In 2008 he was a member of U20 Croatia National Team which played at the U20 European Championships in Latvia. Klarica averaged 4.7 points and 1.8 assists per game in 6 games.
