Pini Gershon - official guest of the BIBL opening game

The former head coach of the Bulgarian NT and current general manager of Maccabi Tel-Aviv - Pini Gershon will be official guest of the 2010 EUROHOLD Balkan League opening game, that will take place in Slavonski Brod, Croatia on the 2nd of October.   As well as the opening game, Gershon will be guest of the Official Board Meeting that will take place on the same day as the opening game between KK Brod-Svjetlost and OKK Beograd.   Pini Gershon is one of Europes most succesfull club coaches of all-time. He has won the best European club competition - the Euroleague three times, and also has been Israeli League champion 7 times, and has won the Israeli Cup also 7 times.   Pini Gershon was invited to the event by Shay Shtriks, Sports Directore of the EUROHOLD Balkan League. This isn the first time that Gershon is coming to Bulgaria, after being invited from the BIBL.
