Levski won agaisnt Rilski in a friendly game

Levski won their first friendly game for the 2010/2011 season. The current EUROHOLD BIBL champions faced the 2009 champs from Rilski Sportist. This was the first chance for Levskis fans to see their newest signing Jason Crowe in action.   The game was attended by a decent of number of spectators in Universiada Hall, and in the end Levski won 78:68. Titi Papazov used all of his players, except the BIBL all-time leading scorer Donald Cole.   Aleksandar Todorov couldn rely on his captain Aleksandar Gruev, who is still recovering from an injury.   Levski had former Bulgarian nationals Vassil Evtimov and Dimitar Anguelov on the roster for this game, but they are just staying in shape with the team.
