Levski warms up with a win for PAO, HKK Zrinjski loses in friendly

The 2010 EUROHOLD Balkan League champions - Levski Sofia warmed up with a win for their big friendly game against Panathinaikos today. Titi Papazovs squad defeated VAP Kolossos Rodou - another team from the top league of Greece with the score of 80:63.
 
Levski got off to a slow start, but managed to turn things around and was up 38:35 at halftime. In the second half, things were equal once again, but the fourth quarter was decisive, as Levski allowed ony 7 points, and won it 24:7, to get the final result settled at 80:63.
 
Today the BIBL champs start their participation in a strong preseason tournament, as today they are facing European powerhouse Panathinaikos, while tomorrow they will play with another team from the Greek elite league - Panionios.
 
Meanwhile one of the newly adde teams in our league - HKK Zrinjski HT Mostar suffered a defeat in one of their last friendly games before the season, losing to the Slovenian team of Senturija 72:87.
