Levski defeated by powerhouse Panathinaikos

The 2010 EUROHOLD Balkan League champions - Levski Sofia suffered a defeat in their friendly game agaisnt the Euroleague champion from 2007 and 2009 - Panathinaikos. Titi Papazovs side lost 55:91 against PAO in a game part of the friendly tournament in the island of Rhodes.   Panathinaikos started the game great, getting an 11 to nothing lead, before letting Levski score their first basket. After 10 minutes PAO had an 18:7 lead. Zeljko Obradovics squad continued with their strong efforts in the second quarter and after 20 minutes they were up by 16 points - 39:23.   In the second half Levski managed to decrease their losing, but it was still around 15 points. Panathinaikos stepped up and made the difference more than 20 points, as after 30 minutes Levski were down 37:66. The full time score was 55:91 in favor of Panathinaikos.   Aaron Harper scored 20 points for Levski, and Donald Cole added 10. Romain Sato and Drew Nicholas scored 11 points each for PAO.
