HKK Zrinjski has decided to extend cooperation with one of its centers. Reportedly the club has decided to bring back Tomislav Ramljak for another season. Ramljak was member of Zrinjski last season, but after his contract expired he was on the lookout for the new club. In the meantime, Zrinjski has agreed a deal with American big guy Anthony Washington, but that didnt work out. Zrinjski was forced to look for a replacement so the choice has fallen on a familiar face. Thus Ramljak will get a chance to build on a fairly successful debut season with the club in which he has averaged 10.7 points. Ramljak is expected to compete for minutes with another newcomer, Seid Hajric who has recently
signed on from Bosna ASA BHT.
Tomislav Ramljak started his career with Posusje junior team, but he signed his first professional contract with Siroki in 2002. In 5 seasons with Siroki,
Ramljak has won two National Titles in 2003 and 2004 as well as National Cup in 2004. However, he never managed to establish himself as member of starting five and even spent some time away on loan at Posusje. In 2007, Ramljak moved to back to the team where he started from, signing a deal with Posusje. At the start of 2008-2009 season he moved to Alkar Sinj where in 27 league games he averaged 10.7 points and 7.8 rebounds per game. Last season, Ramljak found himself on the move again. He agreed a deal with Zrinjski and has posted averages of 10.7 points and 4.7 rebounds per contest.
