          Levski started their title defense with a victory over Montenegrin representative KK Ulcinj - 81:58. Intrigue in the game lasted just the first five minutes when Montenegrins were able to lead by 6:0. Reigning champions quickly took the lead and in the end of the first quarter were up by 2. The hosts totally crushed their opponent in the second period, when made a series of 12:0, and then continued to increase their advance and in the break the "Blues" had a 26 points lead - 54:28.
          Milosevic scored the first two points after the break for 30:54, but the hosts enjoyed a certain pitch, as without many efforts the difference up to 30 points - 61:30 after a three-pointer by Harper and easy lay-up of Donald Cole. In those minutes the performance on the court was totally poor, which could be explained with the total domination of Levski and the inability and lack of experience in the Montenegrin squad. Dusan Milosevic received an injury and had to leave the pitch. After 30 minutes of play the result was 68:38.
            Last quarter of the game was played only for the statistics, however, guests made a record of 9:0 and reduced their trail to "only" 19 points - 47:68, when Konstantin Papazov took a time-out. After the break, the hosts continued to play extremely desorganized, while their first points for the Blues in this quarter came after 4:30 minutes of play thanks to Cekovski, who made his second three-pointer in the game. Until the final wistle the difference continue to be between 25-30 points and the game finished 81:58 for Levski.
 
        The MVP from the last season Stefan Georgiev was the key player on the court, as he ended with 12 points and 15 rebounds. Aaron Harper finished with 10 points, 5 boards and 6 assists, while the only new signing for the "Blues" this season - Jason Crowe added 11 points, 9 rebounds and 4 assists. KK Ulcinj′s best  scorer was Milan Latkovic with 13 points, while Radoje Djurdjovic added 9 points and 9 rebounds for the visitors.
 
         In the next round, on 26th of october, BC Levski is hosting another newcomer - KK Brod-Svjetlost, while Ulcinj will travel to Mostar, to face the Bosnian representative HKK Zrinjski on 27th.
