Aleksandar Todorov: "We played as a team and won because of that"

Less than twenty four hours after Rilski Sportist′s fantastic last-second victory in the first round of the EUROHOLD Balkan League - 89:90 against BC Mures, the team head coach - Aleksandar Todorov shared his opinion about the win in front of gong.bg
 
"We won against a really strong team. In my opinion, BC Mures along with Levski - those are the two strongest team in the BIBL this season. Mures have a big budget, three really really good Americans, along with the best shooter from the Serbian championship last season and a great crowd, which is really noisy and supports the team all game long, but doesn′t say anything about their opponents. We needed a complete team effort in order to win. That′s what happened and that′s why we got this result." Todorov said.
 
The Macedonian specialist also added: "Nasko Radev was hit hard in the knee 20 seconds before the end, in a moment when we did a stupid mistake. He was feeling hard pain after the game, but fortunately it′s not serious. Simeon Tsenov′s condition is more complicated, and he will have to go through more thorough examination."
 
BC Rilski Sportist are second in Group B of the EUROHOLD Balkan League, after their 89:90 win against BC Mures. The first spot is occupied by KK Mornar Bar, who defeated KK Feni in Kavadarci 100:106.
