Right before the start of the NBL in Bulgaria, the head coach of the 2010 BIBL champion and vice-champion from the National League in Bulgaria, Konstantin Papazov shared his thoughts about the upcoming season.
"I think that we prepared well. We had a good opportunity to prepare, and we had way more time than last year. We managed to keep our key players from last year on the team, which is important." Papazov started.
He also added that in Bulgaria, he sees Lukoil Academic as title favorites, but his team Levski is one step in front of all the other opponents for the spot in the finals, but that′s not enough for them to feel powerful already.
"I expect a lot from Varna′s young players to continue to develop, and go on the right way up. Chernomoretz′s Hristo Zahariev is really talented and with a player such as Priest Lauderdale on the team he can only gain experience and learn for good." Titi responded, on being asked about which young player can be the surprise this year in the league.
Levski face Chernomoretz at home in their opening game in the NBL, after they warmed up with Montenegrin side Ulcinj in the first round of the EUROHOLD Balkan League on Wednesday, defeating them 81:58.News
