Petar Klechkov: We can get up in the Top 3

Petar Klechkov, head coach of BC Balkan, one of the latest additions to the EUROHOLD Balkan League shared his thoughts about the season in Bulgaria, which is starting today, as his side is visiting Yambol.   "Our preseason went well, normal. I′m expecting a tough season ahead of us. Everyone has good players, and the teams are equal. We won′t give up and will play hard and not give up in  every game, no matter if it′s in the NBL or the Balkan League." Klechkov said.   "I think that our guard Josh Gonner can be the discovery of the season. I can also point out Emil Binev from my team, as well as Stanimir Marinov. I can also add the players from Varna, which are at the same age. Aleksandar Yanev, Vasil Kiosev and others from there played good last season, but I think that they will continue doing that this year as well. Those young boys should receive time on the court, because they are the future of our national team."   "Lukoil are the favorite for the title in Bulgaria, followed by Levski in my opinion. Rilski Sportist signed some good players. The fight for the third spot will be hard, but I think we have potential to get there." Klechkov finished.   BC Balkan are making their debut in the EUROHOLD Balkan League on the 27th of October, visiting HKK Zrinjski Mostar in Bosnia.
