Domestic leagues: Mornar and Ulcinj winning in Montenegro

After the first round of the Montenegrin league has passed this weekend, the two BIBL competitors from the country - KK Mornar Bar and KK Ulcinj both achieved wins in the season opener at home.   KK Mornar Bar, who are in their second season in the EUROHOLD Balkan League, won easily away from home. Djordjie Pavicevic′s boys defeated Mogren Budva by 22 points - 56:78, which automatically put them up in the first place.   KK Ulcinj jumped to the second spot, after they also won in the first round. The young team defeated last year′s finalist from the BIBL - Lovcen Cetinje by 8 points - 68:60 in front of their home crowd.   Mornar can say that the week was good for them, finishing with two wins - one away from home  versus Feni (100:106) and one in Montenegro against Mogren, while KK Ulcinj had a decent week - loss at Levski and win at home.
