Armend Kahrimanovic is expected to be one of the key figures for HKK Zrinjski Mostar this season not only in Bosnia but in the team′s debut participation in the EUROHOLD Balkan League. Kahrimanovic is 30 years old, 196 cm tall and plays as small forward. He shared his thoughts about the upcoming season for Zrinjski.info and we are presenting them to you here too.   Q: For the start, introduce yourself to the fans   Armend Kahrimanovic: I started playing basketball in Celik (Zenica) I have also played for Cenex and Bosna - both from Sarajevo. After that I went to the United States where I played basketball and finished my university education, before returning shortly in Celik. I moved on to Greece afterwards where I played for Iraklis, Ilysiakos and Apollon.   In the USA Kahrimanovic spent two seasons with the Idaho Vandals in NCAA, appearing in 52 games, and scoring 5.3 points per game.   Q: How did you arrive here in HKK Zrinjski?   AK: I have played against the current Sports Director of the club - Boris Dzidic, as he has also played with my brother. He is the main reason why I signed with the team. After I went through tryouts this year here, they signed me.   Q:Zrinjski is playing in the EUROHOLD Balkan LEague this year, how will you deal with that?   AK: We will have to play two games a week - Wednesday and Saturday, it will be hard for us, but I think we can manage playing all these games. For us the Balkan League starts on the 27th of October against KK Ulcinj from Montenegro.   Q: Zrinjski has always fell short, maybe one step away from achieving something in the championship and in the cup, and why not in the Balkan League this year?   AK: In my opinion we have enough quality this year to do something big, and make the missing step up.
