Domestic leagues: Levski with their first loss this season

Levski suffered their first loss for the 2010/2011 season. The defending champions from the EUROHOLD Balkan League came down against Levski in the second round of the NBL, losing by 16 points - 72:88 at home in Universiada Hall in Sofia.
Levski managed to win only the first quarter, and after that it was all Lukoil. The Bulgarian powerhouse started to build their lead, and after 40 minutes they ended up with 16 points more than their opponents- 72:88.
Aaron Harper scored 29 points for Levski in their losing effort, while Pavel Ivanov added 11. Those two were the only ones for Titi Papazov′s side to finish in double digits.
For Lukoil Academic Dominic James scored 16 points, while Travis Peterson and Bozhidar Avramov had 14 each.
Next week Levski are hosting KK Brod-Svjetlost at home in Universiada Hall in Sofia in a game from Round 2 of the EUROHOLD Balkan League. The game tips off at 19.00 on the 26th of October.News
