BC Balkan won their first game in the Bulgarian League this season. Petar Klechov′s side won away from home by 3 points - 93:96, and grabbed their first win this season.
This game was Balkan′s last warm-up before their debut game in the EUROHOLD Balkan League, as next week they are traveling to Montenegro to face the local side KK Mornar in Bar.
Today Georgi Davidov led the way for Balkan. The experienced power forward scored a team-high of 28 points, along with 7 rebounds. Yordan Bozov added 23 points, and Josh Gonner finished with 19. Dwayne Morton was the last player in green uniform to finish in double digits, adding 13 points.
For Chernomoretz Priest Lauderdale continued to impress, scoring 30 points along with 12 rebounds. Former Rilski Sportist man Simeon Naydenov scored 27.
Balkan′s first BIBL game is scheduled for the 27th of October in Topolica Hall in Bar, as the starting time is 18.00.News
