Domestic leagues: HKK Zrinjski started with a win

HKK Zrinjski Mostar started the 2010/2011 season with a win. The team, which is set to make their debut in the EUROHOLD Balkan League won their first official game for the season, defeating KK Bosna Sarajevo at home, as the final score was 73:67.   The home side finished the first half with 3 points more - 16:13. Until halftime neither team managed to pull up with a difference, and Zrinjski was still up, but only by 2 - 39:37.   The third period was "a showcase of what the team is capable of" according to one of Zrinjski′s fan sites. They won the third period and after 30 minutes were up 59:43, but in the decisive fourth period let Bosna score 10 points more, to decrease the difference down to 6 points after 40 minutes - 73:67.   Zeljko Sakic led HKK Zrinjski in scoring, along with the new addition to the team Seid Hajric, as those two scored 19 points each. Lazar Simonovic was the third player in double digits, scoring 18.
